Professor Iqbal Azeem was a well-known Urdu poet from Pakistan. He is recognized for his beautiful and deep poetry, especially his naats (poems praising the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ). His work reflects his love for spirituality, faith, and the beauty of Islamic traditions.

Aakhri Umar Mein Kya Ronak-e-Duniya Dekhun
Ab To Bas Ek Hi Dhun Hai Ke Madinah Dekhun
Jaliyaan Dekhun Ke Deewar-o-Dar-o-Baam-e-Haram
Apni Be-Noor Nigahon Se Main Kya Kya Dekhun
Main Kahan Hoon Ye Samajh Loon To Uthaoon Nazarain
Dil Jo Sambhale To Main Phir Gumbad-e-Khazra Dekhun
Mere Mola Meri Aankhein Mujhe Wapas Kar De
Ta Ke Is Baar Main Ji Bhar Ke Madinah Dekhun
Jin Gali Kochon Se Guzray Ho Kabhi Mere Husoor ﷺ
Un Mein Ta Hadd-e-Nazar Naqsh-e-Kaf-e-Pa Dekhun
Ta Ke Aankhon Ka Bhi Ehsan Uthana Na Paray
Qalb Khud Aina Ban Jaye Main Itna Dekhun
Kaash Iqbal ﷺ Yunhi Umar Basar Ho Meri
Subah Kaabay Mein Aur Shaam Ko Taiba Dekhun
